PRAA Fall Soccer 2015
We are offering the family discount, which is full price for first child, then $10 off each additional child. So this is a great deal if you have a large family, since the discounts can be combined.
Registration will be open until August and you can register at this link:
Teams and Leagues fill up quickly, so please do not wait. The players will be placed on the teams requested as first come, first serve.
NO REFUNDS - No refunds unless we are unable to create a team in your child's age division.
Age/League - You will only be able to register for the league that your child is eligible for. If your child plays "up" you will need to put that request in the comments section of the registration. You can also put a coach request in this section, and place any request for practice times. Not all requests will be granted.
School/ Challenge - You CAN play for your School team and Recreational Soccer. You CANNOT play Challenge/Classic and Recreational soccer. The Recreational Soccer League run by UCSL does not permit Challenge or Classic players.
Ragamuffins This is a group league for children that have not played soccer before. The ages are 2.5-4 (but could be up to 5 based on skill/experience). We will meet once a week on Mondays at Hemby Bridge from 5:30-6:15pm. They practice once a week as a group. There are no teams or games. This focuses on introducing soccer to the kids in a fun and exciting way. Parents are needed to participate with their child during practices.
Lil' Warriors is players are ages 4-5 and have had some experience with soccer. They will practice once a week with their team. The games are played at Bonterra on Saturdays mornings. The teams will play with other Porter Ridge teams. They will play 4V4 with no goalies.
Development Soccer is our U7-U14 leagues. These games could be played throughout Union County on Saturdays and Sundays. U7 & U8 play 7V7 with goalies and U9 through U14 play 8V8 with goalies.
U8-Pre-Academy We are excited to continue to offer a hybrid of development and academy soccer this season. These players will be on a team and will practice with that team once a week. The 2nd practice is a mandatory group practice with all the players in that league. U8 will be on Thursdays from 6-7:00. The coaches and teams will need to all come out for the group training. Coaches are expected to help out with their teams during these trainings. Players will get academy style training and coaches will also get guidance and training for their teams as well.
U9 & up- these leagues will practice twice a week with their coaches and teams.
U15/U16 - We are waiting to confirm the possibility of having a U15 or U16 league with Union County Soccer League. I will update you when I hear.
Coaches - Coaches will be required to attend all Coaches clinics and trainings. Coaches are expected to work with our director- Bryan Ramoutar to create practice sessions appropriate for the age group and players. Coaches are also required to complete a risk managament form and undergo CPR/First Aid training (which will be provided through PRAA) If you are interested in coaching, please contact me or Bryan to discuss the expectations.
Teams- requests for coaches and practice nights are considered but not guaranteed. Teams will be coed unless there are enough girls to make up an all girls team.
We are looking forward to another great season at PRAA. If you know any other families that may be interested in joining, please forward this email to them.
